Chapter 52 - Other Missing Locations (T)

Tabo

[Vlad's knife] was a wicked thing that I'd found in Shortrest, near Tabo.
Iorich, Chapter 14

Tanvir

I went to a place called Tanvir where it was just spring and there were flowers in all the colors there are.
Tiassa, The Silver Tiassa

Thalew

set out from Dragaera City on a long campaign in the service of a certain Dzurlord who sent them west to the city of Thalew in the Pushta
The Lord of Castle Black, Chapter 40

If "long" refers to distance traveled, the Pushta must extend quite some distance west. If it refers to the time spent campaigning, then Thalew (and the Pushta) could be much closer.

Threefalls River

make it clear as the Threefalls River
The Phoenix Guards, Chapter 11

Threewalls

Presumably near the Twicetied Hills

a Phoenix, a certain Duke of Threewalls ... Has he a sister, who is Illista, Marchioness of the Twicetied Hills?
The Phoenix Guards, Chapter 16

Threewillows

transport [iron, lodestone, swordstone and perhaps even trellenstone] to Candletown, and thence along the Grand Canal to Dragaera City. Indeed, my mother has spoken of the possibility of extending the canal all the way to Threewillows.
The Baron of Magister Valley, Chapter 1

The Grand Canal runs from Candletown to the former location of Dragaera City, so I'm not sure how they would go about extending it.

Duchy of Tildhome

Khaavren had discovered [Borteliff] while on a mission in the duchy of Tildhome, where the Teckla had been employed as a procurator for a textile manufacturer.
Tiassa, Special Tasks 3

Tirenga

From Castle Black.

He caused black marble and obsidian to be imported from the far north, white marble ... to be sent from the near north, silver from the Canthrip, brass and good steel from the forges and foundries of Tirenga to the east, glass from the south, and teak from Tree-by-the-Sea in the far northwest (this last being sent by ship to Adrilankha before coming overland, as it was still impossible to pass through the heartland owing to Kana's continuing influence)
The Lord of Castle Black, Chapter 65

There's not much to the east of Castle Black, unless he's talking about the East. The name is similar to Tiren's Peak.

(see also Corpet County)

Tirinsar

the first seeds of the Great Plagues were beginning in Adrilankha, Candletown, Northport, Branch and Tirinsar
Five Hundred Years After, CONCLUSION

The first three locations can be found clockwise around the Empire. If this pattern holds, Tirinsar is somewhere between Branch and Deathgate Falls.

The name is similar to Tiren's Peak, which is the southernmost peak in the Eastern Montains, and just north of the Shallow Sea.

Traanzo

Where is the duchy of ... Traanzo. It is east of the Pushta, but ... Traanzo himself is never there. He had a second home in Adrilankha
The Baron of Magister Valley, Chapter 21

Traveling Wood

it is as easy ... as it is to find acorns in the Traveling Wood.
Five Hundred Years After, Chapter 16

Turtle

[Sethra] pointed to a spot [on a map] and said, "We strike here ... and retreat this way, toward the Eastern Mountains ... We'll need to make arrangements [to bivouac] if we're west of the Flatstone River, or north of Turtle
Dragon, Chapter 6

Probably east of the Flatstone River by process of elimination, and with a name like "Turtle", probably near water (so either on the Flatstone River or near or on the coast of the Shallow Sea).

Twicetied Hills

Presumably near the duchy of Threewalls

a Phoenix, a certain Duke of Threewalls ... Has he a sister, who is Illista, Marchioness of the Twicetied Hills?
The Phoenix Guards, Chapter 16

Twindle River

the peculiar smelters that fill some of the towns along the Twindle River with their stenches
Five Hundred Years After, Chapter 28

Most mining in the Empire appears to take place in the Southeast (Collier Hills), North (Holdfree Mines) and Northwest (Kanefthali Mountains).

Twinoaks

[Uttrik's two combats] were in the south-west ... they took place in the duchy of Fautonswell ... under the Duke of Twinoaks
The Phoenix Guards, Chapter 19

I presume this duchy is near to the duchy of Fautonswell, but it's possible they traveled far to settle this uprising.
